Here’s a look at 3 core subjects you’ll cover and the hours you’ll spend mastering them:

1. Real Estate Law – 33 Hours

Understanding the legal side of real estate is essential for protecting clients and conducting transactions correctly. In this portion of the course, you’ll dive into Delaware and National real estate law, agency relationships, fair housing, contracts, and disclosure requirements. By the end, you’ll know how to navigate the rules and regulations that govern the industry with confidence.

2. Real Estate Principles & Practices – 36 Hours

This subject provides the foundation for everything you’ll do in your real estate career. You’ll learn key concepts like property ownership, valuation, financing, and the role of real estate professionals in the buying and selling process. These hours are designed to give you a clear understanding of how the industry works and how you’ll fit into it.

3. Real Estate Mathematics – 24 Hours

Numbers play a big role in real estate. From property taxes to understanding loan amortizations, these 24 hours will give you the math skills necessary to serve your clients accurately and professionally. Don’t worry. Our instructors make the math approachable and practical, with real-world examples you’ll use every day. On the first night of class, you’ll have the opportunity to take a math pre-test which could allow you to “test out” of the math section, altogether.

4. Orientation and Review - 6 Hours

Bookending the 99 hours pre-licensing course is 3 hours of orientation and 3 hours of law, sales, and math review.
