the teachers of central delaware real estate academy

At Central Delaware Real Estate Academy, we often get asked: “Who teaches your students?”

In honor of Teacher’s Day, we want to shine a spotlight on the dedicated educators who empower our students on their journey to a Delaware real estate license. We’ll also share what it takes to teach the pre-licensing courses here in Delaware.

Our instructors aren’t just classroom teachers, they’re active professionals with deep experience in sales, law, and math. They bring real world stories, up to date market knowledge, and hands on insight into every class.

Some traits you’ll see in our instructor team:

  • Licensed in Delaware: All of our instructors are licensed by the Delaware Real Estate Commission to teach their designated topic in the pre-licensing real estate courses.

  • Skilled Communicators: They know how to break complex topics into understandable lessons.

  • Mentors at heart: They care about your success. Our instructors take time to thoughtfully prepare class materials and deliver them in the most engaging, effective way possible.

  • Committed to standards: They teach using the approved curriculum and ensure each class meets Delaware Real Estate Commission guidelines.

Because they combine theory, application, and mentorship, they don’t just teach you to pass the exam — they prepare you for life as a practicing REALTOR®.

What It Takes to Be a Real Estate Instructor in Delaware

Teaching the real estate pre-licensing course isn’t as simple as walking into a classroom. In Delaware, instructors must meet certain expectations to be approved by the Delaware Real Estate Commission to instruct. Here’s a little more insight around instructor approvals:

  1. Instructors are expected to be seasoned in practice and have credentials that reflect their expertise.

  2. Instructors must be able to demonstrate their expertise in the subject matter.

  3. Instructors are approved by the Delaware Real Estate Commission to teach Commission approved curriculum.

  4. Instructor approvals are to be renewed every 2 years.

When you enroll at CDREA, you’re not just getting slides and lectures. You’re learning from people doing this work every day. Their dedication to student success shines through in every session and it’s reflected in the glowing reviews from those they’ve guided toward licensure. We are grateful to our instructors who are shaping the next generation of Delaware real estate professionals.
